Ube
Purple yam, steamed and puréed. It carries our Basque cheesecake, and it is the flavor most people drive here for.

Est. 2022 — Rancho Cucamonga, CA
The Beginning
+Bake Cafe was founded in 2022, born from the kitchens of Take Ur Seat (opens in a new tab), the family of brunch restaurants that had already been feeding the Inland Empire for years. The team set out with a vision: a space dedicated entirely to the artisan baked goods they'd always wanted to make.
The concept was simple but bold — blend the flavors of Filipino and Southeast Asian kitchens with the precision of Western baking. Ube in a Basque cheesecake. Pandan in a waffle batter. Coconut sugar in a snickerdoodle. The familiar made new. The comforting made surprising.
What opened as a small bakery quickly became a community gathering spot. Word spread about the cheesecakes. Instagram discovered the pandan waffles. Locals came for the food and stayed for the atmosphere — board games on the tables, warm light, and a staff that genuinely cared.
Today, +Bake Cafe remains proudly independent, proudly Filipino-inspired, and proudly rooted in the Rancho Cucamonga community. Every item is still baked fresh daily by our small team, with the same attention to craft that started it all — and the espresso is still pulled on beans from the roastery our sister restaurant started.
Our Pantry
Not a novelty flavor bolted onto a Western pastry. These are the ingredients the team grew up with, used at full strength and treated with the same technique as butter and chocolate. You can taste all of them on the menu.
Purple yam, steamed and puréed. It carries our Basque cheesecake, and it is the flavor most people drive here for.
Southeast Asian screwpine leaf — grassy, vanilla-adjacent. We steep it into syrup for the pandan latte.
Stone-ground green tea, whisked to order. Paired with strawberry or on its own, never pre-sweetened.
The quiet ones. Coconut sugar in the snickerdoodle, black sesame folded through laminated dough.
What We Stand For
We build community through food. Every cheesecake, every latte, every friendly conversation at the counter is a brick in that foundation.
Every item on our menu represents an achievement of craft — hours of testing, refining, and perfecting. We don't settle for good enough.
We bake with heart and serve with care. Kindness is baked into every item — from the way we source our ingredients to how we treat every guest.
We see our customers as family. We listen, we remember, and we care about making every visit feel personal and welcoming.
Our Family
+Bake is the bakery in a group of restaurants spread across the Inland Empire and the San Gabriel Valley. Different formats, different cities, one kitchen philosophy — and a lot of shared recipes. Here are the siblings closest to us.

Chino Hills, CA
You. Me. Brunch.
Full-service brunch restaurant — the original
The restaurant that started everything. Chino Hills is where the group learned to put Filipino and Southeast Asian flavors next to Western brunch technique, and where the espresso bar that became Local Coffee Roasters first opened. +Bake grew directly out of this kitchen.

Ontario, CA
You. Me. Brunch. Again
Full-service brunch restaurant — the second location
Opened in Ontario in 2022, the same year as +Bake. Same kitchen playbook as Chino Hills, with a brighter room built around a plant-filled photo corner. It is the closest full-service sibling to the bakery — about fifteen minutes down the 15 from Base Line Rd.

Pomona, CA
Brunch. Grab. Go.
Grab-and-go brunch counter & specialty coffee
The group's fast format, open since 2024 inside The Union on Garey — a restored brick landmark in downtown Pomona near Cal Poly Pomona. Rice bowls, breakfast burritos, and espresso built for people who have somewhere to be. It shares +Bake's pastry and drink thinking at counter speed.

Redlands, CA
Take Ur Seat. Stay a While.
All-day quick-service counter inside Redlands Public Market
The family's furthest-east outpost, in the 1890 packing house that is now Redlands Public Market. Counter service from morning to night — rice bowls, burritos, and matcha — which makes it the one sibling you can still walk into after the bakery has closed for the day.
